(Fairfield, CT – March 2004) RBC Bearings has announced that its manufacturing facility in Hartsville, South Carolina, has been awarded an ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certificate.

“Earning certification to this worldwide quality standard shows the dedication of the Hartsville employees,” says Keith Thomas, Plant Manager at RBC-Hartsville. “It also qualifies that we manufacture product through process controls and procedures that meet or exceed customer requirements. This facility produces cam followers, including the RBC Roller®, Pitchlign® brand needle roller bearings, spherical plain bearings, mast guide bearings, and a wide variety of custom-engineered bearings for unique applications.
